I believe every human being enters this world carrying gifts, wisdom, and purpose unique to their own journey. Not because they need to earn them, but because they are already an expression of the Divine.
Yet somewhere along the way, many of us forget.
Nobody begins life doubting themselves. We learn to do that.
Through trauma, rejection, conditioning, painful relationships, and the pressure to belong, we gradually place more trust in other people’s interpretations of who we are than our own lived experience. In doing so, we do not lose who we truly are. We simply lose our relationship with that part of ourselves.
I know this because I have lived it.
It took me years to realise that the greatest loss was not confidence. It was trust in myself. Not because that trust had disappeared, but because I had slowly learnt to place more value on other people’s interpretations of my life than my own lived experience.
Nobody has lived your life but you.
